You must first fill out the
on-line application to the Career Israel program and attach your resume
in English. Here you can specify fields that you are interested in, and
indicate specific internships from our database that are of interest to you.
After your application has been reviewed, a program representative will contact
you to set up an interview. This interview gives us a chance to learn more
about you and your expectations for the internship.
You will be notified via email about whether or not you have been accepted to
the program. If accepted, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable
registration fee of $200. This deposit secures your spot on the program and
shows us you are committed, so we can begin looking for an internship for you.
As soon as we have received payment, we will begin sending your resume to
potential employers. When a specific employer shows interest in your candidacy,
we will put you in direct contact with a point-person at the organization. The
direct contact is important in order to get a better understanding of the
organization where you will be working and to learn more about the specific
position.
After you have spoken with the point person, you should e-mail the program
staff and let us know if you are interested in confirming the placement. Once
we have made a match, you will be all set!
