The Career Israel Green Zionist Alliance Green Track is a five-month internship
program in Israel. Those who register for the GZA Green Track will
participate in the
Career Israel five-month program,
with a specific environmental focus. GZA Green Track participants will be able
to intern in the environmental arena, either in an environmental organization,
environmental research or in green technology and solar energy*. In addition,
GZA Green Track participants will receive additional programming and
professional development related to the environment in Israel and environmental
work here.
In addition to all the services provided to Career Israel participants, such as
accommodations in central locations in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, health
insurance, ulpan (Hebrew-language study) and educational programming, GZA Green
Track graduates will benefit from:

One year complementary membership in the Green Zionist Alliance

Joining an extensive network of leading environmentalists in North America and
Israel;

Participating in the Green Israel Summit, an eco-conference Shabbaton;

Receiving preference for GZA internships in North America;

Receiving a professional mentor in the Jewish environmental field;

Having the opportunity to help develop environmental policy for KKL-JNF;
-
Extending their time in Israel through GZA's Bikkurim program;
-
Becoming eligible to return to Israel as part of the GZA slate for the World
Zionist Congress.
Specific internships are dependent on the participant’s qualifications and companies’ needs at the time.
