Sheldon Potter, partner at Fogler, Rubinoff LLP is Chairman of the Board of the Israel Innovation Internship Program. He is a businessman-lawyer with over 22 years' experience in business development, deal making and strategic implementation, with an in-depth understanding of laws affecting taxes and corporate plans of businesses. He is an out-of-the-box thinker who has not only advised entrepreneurs, but has lived as an entrepreneur. His strong leadership skills in these areas provides him the ability to run transactions, to create strategies and deploy creative tactics. His exposure ranges from the creation of investment vehicles, structuring and negotiating financing, and creating strategic solutions. He is Chair of the Aliyah Committee at the Toronto Federation and it is his vision that has initiated and continues to support the Israel Innovation Internship Program.
Abe Finkelstein is a General Partner with Vintage Investment Partners, Israel’s leading Secondary Fund and Fund of Fund manager. Before joining Vintage in 2003, Abe was an equity analyst with Goldman Sachs covering Israel-based technology companies in a wide variety of sectors, including software, telecom equipment, networking, semiconductor and satellite communications. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Abe was Vice-President at US Bancorp Piper Jaffray, where he helped start and headed its Israel technology shares institutional sales effort. Before joining Piper, he was an Associate at Brown Brothers Harriman covering the enterprise software and Internet sectors. Abe began his career at Josephthal, Lyon and Ross, joining one of the first research teams focused exclusively on Israel-based companies. Abe graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics and concentration in Finance.
Amir Golan is a Founding Partner that manages Client Development and Strategy at Arazim-Consulting. Golan is an alum of the Merage Foundation for U.S-Israel Trade Executive MBA Leadership Program. He serves as an advisor and mentor for Entrepreneurship & Business-Planning at the Rupin Academic Center. Golan is a board member of the Board & Finance committee of ISSTA-Lines LTD (ISTA.P) listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Mr. Golan completed an MBA and a cum laude bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
