Business Internships and Finance Internships in Israel:

Our participants have high level finance internships and business internships.  You can intern in business in qualitative options such as economic research and financial analyses/investments as well as quantitative options interning in banking, accounting and actuarial sciences if numbers are your specialty.   • Internship in Finance Department of International Hi-tech Company: Intern will help company with various financial activities including preparation of management reports, quarterly closing activities, and inventory cost updates.

  • Internship in Economics: The intern will be required to complete a substantial research project in the field of financial securities regulation.  This project will be a policy or academic research paper examining an area of active interest in the field of securities regulation, forming a cogent analysis and possibly making policy recommendations.  The research fellow will be expected to present their findings to decision-makers within and outside the institution. 

  • Business Internship in Venture Capital: The intern's responsibilities will include assisting in sourcing and analyzing venture investment opportunities, aiding in due diligence for potential new investments, including market research and analysis, developing presentation materials, tracking industry statistics, trends and maintaining internal databases.

 

Internships in PR & Marketing Internships in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem:

We offer a wide variety great marketing internships and public relations (PR) internships- actually hundreds of options. You have the opportunity to intern in online marketing for hi –tech companies, to intern in Social Media management and SEO, or for an internship in PR for non profits, music labels or sports teams- you can find your unique niche! Your mother tongue language skills and understanding of your native culture are attractive skills to Israeli companies in, or looking to be in, the international market. 

 

  • Internship in Public Relations at PR Firm: The intern will work with the firm's executives on account activities for clients including non-profits, technology companies and others. Work can include research, writing, media retrieval, attending clients’ events and media pitching. Interns will become full members of the team and attend staff meetings, training and other events.
  • Internship in Marcom (in hi-tech company): Interns in this position will be involved with all marcom activities.  Tasks & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Work with multiple teams; to develop, implement and maintain marketing communications programs; provide initiative, creativity and content for marketing collateral, including sales tools, product presentations, and other materials that maximize the impact of our sales and marketing efforts.
  • Marketing intern for solar energy company: This company provides groundbreaking distributed solar power harvesting and PV monitoring systems. Their solution maximizes power generation of residential and large-scale PV systems, while reducing costs and complexities. Marketing interns are full members of the marketing team. Tasks include: content management, market research, and presentations.

 

Internship in High-Tech and Innovation Internships in Israel:

Israel has been nick-named the Startup Nation because of its emergence as an international innovation center and its 'start-up' culture.  You can intern in one of these fields, be it technology, media, computer science, or alternative energy. We offer internships in large multinational companies, and small start ups with emphases on engineering, business development, business strategy, sales and marketing, or even intern in the field of renewable energy. 

 

  • Intern in start-up as a client developer: As a client developer you will have the chance to master many mobile platforms (Android, blackberry, iPhone etc.).  You will need to demonstrate fast learning, hacker style skills, multi-disciplinary thinking, product management capabilities and prototyping abilities.
  • Internship in business development in hi-tech company:  Collect and analyze data regarding competitors’ business initiatives, technology and strategies.   Interns analyze competitor information and prepare reports for use by different users within the company, as well as develop, implement and operate automated tools for analysis and display of business information
  • Internship in consulting: Interns will work on an extremely varied list of business activities, which may include all forms of market research, along with marketing activities. Recent interns have organized and actively participated in an international conference for a European government in Jordan, produced in-depth research reports on companies and on individuals, built and operated websites, conducted marketing campaigns, and produced daily business news items, among other tasks.

 

Internships in Nonprofits in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem:

Tel Aviv and Jerusalem serve as the hub for many nonprofit organizations in Israel, and through Career Israel you can intern in a wide variety of nonprofit organizations and NGOs.  See your internship opportunities in our database in fields such as human rights, the African refugee population, women’s rights, children and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities, the Middle East conflict, and environmental action. 

 

  • Internship in an NGO which provides humanitarian aid and advocacy to African refugees seeking asylum in Israel:  This center runs two shelters in Tel Aviv for refugees, and provides them with direct service, legal aid and education.  They aim to raise awareness of the plight of the refugees and assist them. Interns can focus on: education (teaching/tutoring English and Hebrew- especially need tutors with special skills such as music, drama or art to run classes at their education center), raising awareness in the Israeli public, project coordination, fundraising, legal and social policy research, community work, women's empowerment programs, and psycho-social assistance.

 

  • Internship in nonprofit funded partially by both the American Embassy  and the Municipality of Tel Aviv Jaffa that runs a number of different programs, all with the aim of promoting American type values, such as tolerance, co-existence, and democracy.  You can research and/or work in the afterschool program for both Israeli Jewish and Israeli Arab children.

 

  • Internship in nonprofit:  This organization was founded by a group of disabled IDF (Israel Defense Forces) veterans, disabled civilians and senior rehabilitation professionals in order to help children, adolescents and adults to rehabilitate themselves physically, mentally and socially, through challenging sports and outdoor activities. This organization is based on a unique and novel approach, which actively implements the most advanced methods of modern rehabilitative psychology.

 

Intern in Event Planning and Hospitality Internships in Israel:

Medical Internships in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem:

Tel Aviv and Jerusalem have some of the leading medical institutions in the world.  While realistic licensing and practice limitations exist, you can intern in the medical field and gain great insight by interning in hospitals, clinics or researching with specialists. 

 

  • Internship in medical NGO:  This NGO organizes prenatal, birth, and postpartum care for African refugee women using a patchwork of mostly low cost or free services.  Interns accompany the women to appointments, to the hospital during labor & birth, and visit them in the hospital and at home following birth.  Interns can also assist in creating educational classes to provide information about prenatal care, birth and baby care.

 

  • Intern in a hospital that specifically treats and rehabilitates children who have severe conditions such as genetic problems, motor problems and post-accident patients.  You can intern in the field of physical therapy or even in the fundraising and PR department of the hospital.

 

  • Internship in Developmental Biology and Cancer Research laboratory at a leading university:  This lab focuses on the genetic mechanisms determining tumor progression and metastasis, with a special interest in breast cancer. In order to grow and to spread throughout the body, cancer cells need to acquire various functional traits, and this occurs through changes in the function of genes within these cells. This lab is interested in several of these traits and the genes controlling them.

 

Environment Internships in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem:

Israel is a country with many environmental challenges, and many organizations and companies working to help both locally and internationally.  You can intern in this field in a wide variety of ways such as environmental engineering, environmental think tanks, organizations focused on water cleanliness, and even intern in the field of renewable energy, or environmental education. 

 

Intern in the Arts in Israel:

For the artist and art-lover alike, we offer internships in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in all aspects of the arts. Our participants have enjoyed prosperous internships in art galleries, theatre, film making, photography studios, set and costume design, cosmetology, jewelry boutiques, graphic design, and architecture firms. 

 

  • Internship in a studio and boutique that designs and sells jewelry all over the world:   You can assist with the jewelry collection (design), work on the catalogue, work with clients, and be involved directly in all the work of the studio and store. Interns can also potentially focus on marketing or photograph the collections.

 

  • Internship in an auction house and gallery working on cataloguing, measuring, writing up paintings  and dealing with any needs that the center might have depending on skills and education of the intern prior to starting the internship.

 

  • Internship in architecture: Intern in firm founded in 1978 which specializes in architectural design of public buildings, residential buildings, interior and urban planning.  The firm has designed several college campuses and buildings as well as many other cultural and education complexes throughout Israel.

 

Internships in Education and Academia in Israel:

There are various ways to intern in the field of education and academia.  Perhaps you are looking to teach English in schools and after-school programs in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem with students of all ages and backgrounds- whether the students are bilingual, have learning disabilities, children of African refugees or migrant workers, from disadvantaged backgrounds, or your average mainstream child.  Our participants also intern in research with leading professors and researchers at top universities such as Tel Aviv University, Hebrew University and Bar Ilan. 

 

  • Intern in a school with population heavy in refugee children and children of migrant workers, and other children coming from disadvantaged backgrounds who need help.  You can intern as a teacher’s assistant, teach English, and help the elementary and high school students complete projects.

 

  • Internship in Child Psychology: intern with a child psychologist who focuses on how political violence, terrorism and other crises affect the resilience of children. She focuses much of her research on post traumatic stress and intervention models that positively affect children's resilience.

 

  • Internship in cell biogenetics with a top researcher at a leading university in a department which does cutting edge work.

 

Intern in Politics, Journalism Internships and Media Internships in Israel:

Israel is easily one of the most distinguished countries in the world to intern in politics, journalism, and media, as there is never a dull moment in this exciting country.  You can immerse yourself in Israeli society by interning in a leading newspaper, media agencies, the Knesset, political think tanks, the Vice Prime Minister's Office, and nonprofit organizations related to the Middle East conflict. 

 

  • Internship in television: You can intern in a television station as well as in radio programming. The news from Israel is broadcasted through this company in various languages across the world.  You will have the opportunity to research and write stories, record stories on news reel, and have your voice on the news if your story gets used!

 

  • Intern in a leading English language newspaper publication in Israel which covers Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world.  This position includes writing news stories, press releases and op eds as well as researching stories for other journalists and conducting interviews. Internship positions in graphic art  are also available in the layout desk.

 

  • Intern in politics with an international movement that supports the affiliated Israeli political party: You can work with donors, write PR materials and be involved in drafting correspondences in English (or whatever your mother tongue might be).  You will help organize Knesset tours for donors, attend conferences when available, and assist in projects as they arise.

 

Internships in the Sports Field in Israel:

Israel’s sports culture is developing rapidly as professional sports leagues are growing- along with the number of Olympic medals brought home by Israelis!  We offer internships in basketball, soccer, and even American Football teams in Israel.  These placements are relevant for those of you interested in interning in sports marketing, management, tourism and education. 

 

  • Internship in sports marketing and event planning: As an intern you will cover and report on international sport events abroad, such as ISRAMEN (http://israman.co.il/).  You will be in contact with participants from abroad, manage the English section of the website, and contact international race directors and professional media connections.  Interns will be involved in developing sports tourism at the company and in event production.

 

  • Internship in sports education with an organization connected to a major Israeli soccer team:  This organization advances social issues through sports- particularly soccer.  The idea is for every person to have an equal opportunity based on values such as tolerance and self-fulfillment.  The programs address issues that include group spirit, responsibility, fairness and honesty, leadership, mutual respect, help with learning and more.
