Join other AEPi brothers, and participants from all over the world, on the Career Israel Internship Program for an amazing five months including an internship in Tel Aviv, living in the heart of Tel Aviv, and the opportunity to travel around Israel with new friends.
A letter from Yoni Mann (Chi Nu - 2011)
I have had the amazing opportunity to spend the last five months interning in Jerusalem, travelling all over the country, and meeting other Jewish college graduates from around the world. I'm writing because AEPi and Career Israel are partnering and building an AEPi track for THIS SEPTEMBER 2011- and you should definitely check it out- especially those of you who just graduated or are interested in spending a semester doing a professional internship in your field in Tel Aviv!
Career Israel is a five month internship program which provides participants with the opportunity to enhance their resume by doing a professional internship and gaining international experience. Internships are arranged for each participant on an individual basis according to personal interests, qualifications and experience. You will work with an internship coordinator who specializes in your field. To view specific options visit the internship database on their website at www.careerisrael.com. If you don’t see an internship in the database that interests you, your coordinator will work on finding you a placement that meets your needs. All AEPi brothers will live together in the heart of Tel Aviv, and will have some extra programming unique for brothers. The program includes medical insurance and educational enrichment such as Hebrew studies (Ulpan), lectures, tours and seminars exploring the country, staff support 24/7 and continued career counseling. If interested, you can continue Hebrew studies, and/or take a GRE, GMAT or MCAT prep course through the program- and even to take the test while in Israel.
The five month program is recognized by the Masa initiative (www.masaisrael.org), and therefore all participants are eligible to apply for Masa scholarships. The program cost for the 5 month program is $6550 plus a $50 application but eligible candidates will be awarded a $3000 scholarship bringing the cost down significantly.
