About the Summer Track

ABOUT THE SUMMER PROGRAM - 2012

Enhance your resume and advance your career with a summer internship in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, through Career Israel. The summer track is designed for college and university students and recent graduates who want to prepare for the job market.

The program includes housing, placement services, orientation, day trips, seminars, an accompanying staff and 24/7 support, and medical insurance. Complementary Hebrew courses are offered for those at a beginning level of Hebrew. There is an option to extend your stay into the fall for Career Israel's five-month program, and for an additional cost there are overnight trips and higher-level Hebrew classes.

Internships are available in 55 industries, in Israel's leading companies and organizations in both the private and public sectors.

Career Israel is an excellent option for Jewish college seniors or young graduates who are looking for an in-depth, independent Israel experience and an internship placement in your field that will help you secure a job, choose a career direction, or get into the graduate school of your choice.

DATES

June 3 – August 9

ACCOMODATIONS

In Tel Aviv you will stay in dormitory-style buildings with two participants sharing a room. In Jerusalem there are five people to an apartment; each person has his or her own room. The accommodations are equipped with basic furnishings, kitchen utensils and other essentials. Bedding and towels are not provided.

COST

The cost of the 2012 summer program is $3300. It may seem counter-intuitive to pay to be an intern. Bear in mind that you will receive housing, insurance, placement services, staff guidance, an in-depth orientation program, language instruction, trips and tours that will make Career Israel a positive and unforgettable experience.

If you have independent accommodation arrangements, the cost of the program will be less.
