Meet Aviva
While studying at The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University for a B.A. in Business and Event Planning, Aviva decided to sign up for a summer internship at David InterContinental Hotel with Career Israel.
While living in Tel Aviv for the summer with the rest of the Career Israel group, Aviva learned the ins and out of hospitality management and event production. Aviva worked with the event and banquet staff, planning the event logistics and menu options, setting up before events, and aiding in staff execution during the event.
Aviva even succeeded in working with a multi-lingual staff to produce oversea events for members of the government, celebrities, and high-end weddings.
The experience was so profound that Aviva decided to return on Career Israel’s 5 month program where she interned with a VIP travel consultant – and later received a full time job!
