My name is Beth Meluch. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio, but I continued living in Brooklyn after studying Illustration at Pratt Institute in New York. I joined Career Israel to better explore the country and to try out a new career path through an internship in Israel.
I intern for the Association for Children at Risk, a kindergarten where I work with children ages 2-3 who are diagnosed with autism. I went into the job never having worked with autistic children before, and now I am incredibly interested in pursuing a career in this line of work. From my internship I have discovered that I would like to go to graduate school to become an occupational therapist.
My favorite trip during Career Israel has been our trip to the North. It is by far my favorite part of Israelsimply because I think it is so beautiful. Above is a photo of me on a road trip to the North with friends. We went camping on the Kinneret and explored the Golan Heights.
