Kayla Yates, Becky Dadi and Lila Kohrman Glaser interned this past summer at the ALYN Children’s Rehabilitation Center while on Boston Onward Israel 2013 Jerusalem.

The three interns had a very unique experience at this special institution. The main job of all three interns was to work as an aide in one of the outpatient care centers. They worked with small children — both Jews and Arabs — who have severe physical difficulties. The interns also all participated in some of the many therapies with the children, including music, physical, and hydrotherapy. Additionally, they had direct access to the staff psychologist to review case histories.
