Alexis Came to Tel Aviv in the fall of 2011 where Career Israel found her an internship as a restaurant review writer and social media coordinator for TasteTLV, an online restaurant review company. While in Tel Aviv she had the chance to explore Israel’s culinary diversity while also enhancing her writing skills. In addition to publishing reviews for TasteTLV, she also publish numerous articles in the Jerusalem Post.
After her session with Career Israel finished, Alexis decided to stay in Israel and found a beautiful apartment near Tel Aviv’s famous and butsling Shuk Ha’Carmel in the heart of the city with another Career Israel participant. During the next year and a half Alexis found a new way to expand her professional experience by working as a Marketing and Communications analyst at Signals Intellegence Group, an information and intellegence analysis company that helps top organizations with their business and marketing needs. At signals they were able to use many of Alexis’ skills, including her talent as a writer when she published the company’s first international press release. She also explored the many other things Israel has to offer including participating in the Nike Night Run, a 10k night time race in Tel Aviv with 20,000 participants.
Now, just two and a half years later Alexis pursuing her law degree at Loyola Marimount Law School in California and we can’t wait to she what she will accomplish next!
