Alex is a university student from Canada who participated in Career Israel’s summer program in 2019. Before coming on the program, Alex was interested in learning more about the Israeli culture and experiencing it for himself. He was a Programming Intern at OnCourse, working directly with technology experts, helping set up different systems within their online platform. Throughout his internship, he worked on a variety of different tasks and was given the responsibility of working on projects that really impacted the company. “I like how hands-on it is. I am assigned real tasks that affect the outcome of the company. This internship has given me invaluable experience”. One of Alex’s favorite memories throughout his summer program with Career Israel was the off-roading on the day trip to the south with the rest of the Career Israel participants.
About OnCourse: OnCourse, a young and ambitious startup attempting to change the field of educational tourism through an online platform that offers a variety of different courses. An intern has the opportunity to work directly with technology experts at OnCourse, setting up a variety of systems and creating short-cuts in the website through the admin page.
