“Career Israel has impacted my life in so many positive ways, as I am still here working in marketing for IsraelExperts. My favorite memory would have to be on the night hike: we followed Itzik’s lead and laughed the whole way through, only to be met with a wonderful spread for an amazing breakfast at sunrise. The experience of Career Israel is something that I will keep with me for the rest of my life. Looking back, I could never imagine that I would be where I am now without this program and the wonderful friendships and support that came along with it.
Whenever I am in contact with Birthright participants they are so curious about my life here and how it came to be. If you would have told me on my first day of Career checking into the Jerusalem Youth Hostel, that soon enough I would be the Israeli greeting American participants I probably would not have believed you. It’s funny now being on the other side of it all. I think it gives me a full appreciation and understanding of life here and has showed me the true importance of what we do.”
