“I currently work in Santa Monica, California right by the beach putting together national TV promotions with major clients such as Warner Bros., Universal Studios, LucasArts and Island Def Jam Records! US TV watchers may have seen my most recent Justin Bieber and Star Wars commercials on TV in November/December! I’m also teaching religious school at Temple Isaiah on weekends, and just enjoying life.
I would say my greatest memories from Career Israel are the friendships I made, and I still keep in touch with many of the people I met 3.5 years ago. It was also amazing to see Israel from a non-tourist point of view. My whole family lives in Israel minus my parents and brothers, and so just being there as a regular person, not jumping from place to place, and living life was incredible.
Career Israel’s biggest impact wasn’t so much the work I did, because unlike many of the other participants in my session, I had actually been out of college and working for about 3 years when I went on Career. I quit my nice paying job just to experience the world and life, and what Career did for me is give me a new perspective on the world and reignited my love and passion for being a Jew.”
