In 1948 a small group of soldiers fought 3 seperate battles up a hill to take the Nebi Yusha fort, just south of Kiryat Shmona in the north of Israel. In these battles 28 soldiers we lost, including 17 year old Eliezar, the great uncle of Career Israel participant Matt Jevotovsky.

When Matt came to Israel to intern at TLV1 Radio, he found the perfect opportunity to visit the Brotherhood Museum at the site of the battle and learn more about the family member he never got the chance to know.

Join Matt on his journey to learn about
his great uncle Eliezar by listening to the radio show he produced for TLV1 to commemorate the battle here.
